Project PandØra
Project PandØra is a content heavy Data Visualization Experience focused on enhancing the information absortion by non-orthodox combinations of learning processes, interaction and information treatment.
Disclosure: All the content in this experience are simulated and not real. The main purpose of the studies are to create different ways to navigate through content.
The Goal:
Generate a fruitful user interaction in order to acheive maximum information absortion by the reader. Instead of working with High-to-end communication, the interface interacts with the user in a both ways communication experience by making questions and putting to test the reader’s conceptions about a specific theme. By doing that, the experience makes the reader think, choose and receive feedback and by doing that it estimulates different cognitive functions helping the theme to be better absorbed.
ENHANCING INFORMATION ABSORPTION
Once the user chooses a theme, the interface presents a question about
the subject. By being presented with a question, the reader is stimulated
to interprate the concept and consult their previous knowledge.
And by trial and error, the reader works their cognitive system
in a distinctive way that enhances the content information absorbing.
-- At this stage the user is presented with two color coded options to choose from, by challenge the user is possible to engage different neural functions that will help with the information absortion.
ADDED STRATEGIC VALUE:
Instead of working as the most range of data visualization experiences, this particular UX generates strategic value specially for businesses conducting Research and Development of new concepts or even Research presenting. Usually research efforts are High-to-end interactions where specialists search for signs of change and then present them without receiving any validation or feedback from the general public, not to mention the lack of quantification of the feedback.
-- With this UX not only the user can see with their own eyes that he/she is not alone on their choice of answer, but the content presenters can have feedback and validation on their own research, that extends itself into whole new scale.
CONTENT REVIEW AND INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
After presenting readers with the information about the research right answer, the interface gives the possibility to highlight content and create notes.
That way is possible to generate a colaborative extension of the research and also individual learning proccess/information extraction from an extense quantity of content.
The Stream Team is a Product by Universal Music for Spotify Playlisters, the project was a challenge and a pleasure from start to end. The Universal Promo team was incredibly open for any design propositions and reccomendations. The result was a stylistic and modern interface on both UX and UI.
The Goal:
The idea of the Stream Team is not just to be an utilitary platform but also to make Playlisters feel important and creative by using an exclusive interface that also provides a whole different experience by the look & feel. Full of influence by the post-apocalyptic and brutalist UI styles the interface brings some kind of mysterious look & feel with it.
Early prototypes
Early prototypes
The product required a simple user flow, and a strong branding/UI styiling. The early low-fi prototypes were used to estabilish the user flow as the UI style came along the way. The challenge was to create an interaction that would be forward thinking both on UX and UI but also match the Spotify API requirements. This first prototyping steps were used to explore interactions and specially to create a brand atmosphere for the whole Stream Team product.
Playlist Optimization
Playlist Optimization
Mobile responsiveness was vital to understand how the styling would render overall and how the user interaction would actually dictate the way the UI styling should behave on some specific screens.
Scrolling over card swiping
The first flow consists in understanding the main purpose of the product, and navigate naturally through the application in order to choose the first action to be taken. Instead of working with card swiping it was chosen to work with expandable content upon scroll so the interaction is more natural based on latest mobile behavior reports and also to help the user to see more of the available content.
Refining and Complementing
After the main UI-Style was defined and the first User Flows were set up it was time to refine the first
prototypes to match the brand and promotion requirements.
Discover Songs
The Song Discovery creates A.I. made playlists based on the user’s data. The Playlisters only need to login with spotify and choose which playlist they want to discover songs to. When the Playlister is listening to the songs, they can score songs, write comments and add the songs to a specific position in their playlsit. That action helps the A.I. to generate better reccomendations and the user to track what they liked or not.
Optimize Playlists
The playlist optimization is a feature to help Playlisters to improve based on data. Basic song data is shown on the playlist in order to the user to take action about it. The platform also reccomends songs that might add stream growth to the playlist.
Analytics
The Analytics feature is meant to empower the Playlisters to take action over real data. The Playlisters can grow their level based on achievements and understand how they can improve based on a conceptual data visualization style.

The project was designed from ground zero, from the branding to the final promotional landing page.
The Goal:
Create a brand and a platoform that would represent and allow Indie artists to share content and make quality live transmissions creating unique interactions with their fans.

The Scuttle -
Imagine organizing everything you need in one place. You kids school activities, familiy trips, girls reunions... That’s what The Scuttle is all about.
I was involved in the project with two amazin entrepeneur sisters that had that vision but didn’t have a brand yet, just some wireframes and a clear idea of their target.
So together we created all the Brand, User Experience and UI.
Focused on the average american mother needs, the app is meant to help mothers who are deeply interested in colaborative social circles and have a passion for event organizing.
01. Basic Brand Study
02. First UX Concepts
The whole interaction is supposed to work just like when you post notes on the freezer so your family can visualize it. A simple daily interaction people are used to.
Family and group interactions in general work in complex ways once different people have different schedules and activities throughout the day.
Is not only important to have an information base but also how you organize it. Taking in consideration that we use post its for notes in the freezer but also for business development and discoveries is mind blowing.
What we cant ake from that is that humans have information organizing patterns, and one of the most important of them is organizing information in blocks that might different represent categories.

03. First Wireframes
By taking in consideration the sticky notes concept, it was decided that working with
cards would provide a good comparative experience, so some test wireframes were made.
04. UI Responsiveness
As we moved forward, it was understood that not every user would want all the functions a
Scuttleboard provided, so the user could choose what features would be active at the customization.
05. MVP and Feature Prioritization
Much was simplified and changed in order to accomodate the MVP delivery.
Some of the functionalities were left aside in order to save bandwidth for more vital
features that would be the beating heart of the app.

Single Board
Once the user enters at an individual board, he is presented with all features included. Features can be removed and customized.
Single Board- Edit notes Expanded View
The most vital feature is the Notes feature called “All you need to know”
that block can be expanded in order to accomodate more information and better visualization.
Events
Every board can be packed with events knowing that a board might be a recurring
meeting occasion like a Book Club for example.

Organization Matters
